Everybody seems to have figured out that any human person aged less than 18 is a child. What not everybody seems to have understood is that such a person, though apparently fragile and helpless, has some unalienable rights on the simple ground of their human nature. It is this appalling situation that we have resolved to address in our all-out programs for children's all-round fulfillment.
We are very supportive of all children rights, but definitely are on fire for those regarding life, protection, sound education, social care, and playtime.
Boutros Boutros-Ghali, the 6th UN Secretary General (1992-1996), declared ''It has long been recognized that an essential element in protecting human rights was a widespread knowledge among the population of what their rights are and how they can be defended."
The truthfulness of this assertion cannot be overemphasized. it has led us to do everything in our capacity to take children's rights into the limelight, whether among children themselves or among the other strata of society, as well as how these rights can be defended.
We have done much but much remains to be done. To God that organizations like ours may mushroom the world over for the welfare of the untold numbers of precious children making it to earth.
